Thumbnail Design

These are my four thumbnail design sketches for my pendulum animation.  The one I would like to choose as my final design is the one on the top left.  I want the layout to look like a gauntlet with my axe positioned inside.  I want the scene to start out formally balanced and remain like this through most of the animation, for this will make the viewer feel safe and somewhat in control of the situation.  Then at the last minute I would like to have a sudden shift in the camera angle to an informally balanced room where the axe seems much larger than you.  This will give the viewer a sense of panic as they were very confident they were going to make it through the gauntlet but fell short, suddenly at the end.
